TracPipe CounterStrike Guide 3.5

This application enables users to size TracPipe® Flexible Gas Piping products using either the Longest Run or Branch Length method for gas pipe sizing. Regardless of whether the installation is in TracPipe, PS-II, or TracPipe CounterStrike®, the application displays the appropriate pipe size for a given capacity based on the gas type, supply pressure, and allowable pressure drop selected by the user. By setting design parameters through intuitive dropdown menus, users can then determine the pipe length and tubing size on an easy-to-read calculator wheel to identify the capacity that can be delivered by any of the seven sizes offered by TracPipe.

Gas piping systems sized with the TracPipe Size and Capacity Calculator must adhere to the procedures outlined in Chapter 4 of the International Fuel Gas Code or Chapter 6 of the National Fuel Gas Code, following either the Longest Length Method or the Branch Length Method. The designer of the piping system must ensure that the pressure drop allows for the supply pressure at the appliance to be equal to or greater than the minimum pressure required by said appliance.
